The
one week language and culture program offers
volunteers the opportunity to learn directly
from India 's life experiences. This language
and culture program is basically designed for
the enrichment of volunteers, who are taking
a break from their busy lives in their home
countries, while they visit India in order to
experience and learn from foreign lands. With
the Hindi Language and Culture Program, the
most important luggage you can bring is an open
heart - with it, you will be open to learning
from new experiences. Through this program,
volunteers can learn about India by becoming
familiar with the local language, culture, and
heritage of the land, and then, living among
the people of the land just like a native.
Volunteers will learn the
basic phrases and verbs that are commonly used
by Indian daily life. The first week of the
program helps volunteers to develop their competency
in Hindi language, prior to their practice in
the field.
