I arrived at the office in India with no problem; it was well organized. The environment of the place was really impressive and it is hard to arrange my experiences in order as a volunteer. The hospitality and support from the people were memorable. I was given an opportunity to work in an orphanage and at once, I realized that people can indeed have a great impact on the lives of those in needs. The staffs and nearly 30 smiling orphan children saluted me with their charming faces. It was not any problem at all to convey a hug, a smile, or simply playing, singing, dancing with each other in the orphanage even though if you did not attended the first week language program. I came to know that most of the children had lost their parents at extremely and vulnerable ages where love and affection are needed. At the crucial point our presence seems so important and valuable showing them that they are important and can play a vital role for the nation. The regular involvement with those innocent children was one of the most elevating experiences, I have ever made. I was here for short period but it illustrated me a new life which I never saw before.

I will never forget their smile, love and the way they opened up to me. All the kids in the orphanage had expressed different aims of their life. One of the girls wished to be a doctor to help out poor people of the society who are dying day by day lacking appropriate treatment. It is not a crime to hold endless amount of promises and being full of aspiration, it will be a crime if they are deprived from those opportunities. So all the children need someone to tell them that they can be and do anything that they set in their mind and heart and they can make a difference in the world.

Concerning the environment around there was really fascinating to see. Most of the state was covered in coconut palm forests, even in the town and cities. There were also numerous mango, jack fruits, papaya and pineapple trees. Most common birds were crows, sparrows and maina birds which I could see from the place where I lived.

Finally, I would like to convey my message to all people of the world- please once you come here and see their delightful faces, share your feelings with them and give your hand for their bright future; it will be a great time and help for them in your life. Volunteers work is absolutely crucial in the developing nations, and I will never forget the experience that I have had here in India. Imagine holding the tiny hands of children, who only wants you to smile at them or simply listen to them, it really will help you to change your life and acquire a new world.
