As per the previous information, I found someone at the airport for the pick up and was well transferred to the hostel which is located just 45 minutes drive from New Delhi. The program started with an introduction about the Indian culture and language. It was really interesting to learn Hindi language and the way of life of the people there. The sightseeing tour to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur was brilliant and interesting. The tours to historical places would be an unforgettable moments in my life. I obtained a lot of information about those places.

I was placed in an orphanage project which I found great and taught computers and games to the kids of the orphanage. All the kids they became happy upon our arrival in the project. They were keen interested to learn with every kinds of lessons. This work was most rewarding and at the same time challenging too.

During my project time, I enjoyed a lot staying with my host family. It was really interesting to cook Indian food. My host family member taught me to cook some Indian varieties which I enjoyed a lot. In most of my free time, I spent on cooking with the family. Some other people also invited us to have dinner with them. They hosted us and gave us an unforgettable evening. Everything was perfect here. The last night we had a nice dinner in a typical Rajasthani place. We had so much fun dancing and looking at different shows that were presented and it gave me a fantastic impression.

All the staffs here were very nice and helpful all the time. Their positive attitude and cooperation towards us will be cherished. My overall experiences have been wonderful learning about Indian culture, their customs and lifestyle. I had a good impression of this program. I am planning to do the same program with RCDP-Nepal in future.
