Women Empowerment Project

Women in India are exploited and neglected. This is specially so in remote villages where girls still aren’t sent to schools, made to toil in the fields and work for others from early on in their life. Many women continue to live like that when they’re married. Often, they’re beaten and insulted in their husband’s house. Moreover, the number of their literacy rate in comparison to men in rural area is very unsatisfactory and low. There are many local organizations that trying to involve the plight of women.

RCDP-India works in collaboration with these local organizations to empower and support the marginalized and disadvantaged women and children in India. Volunteers will work to empower women by providing them skills to survive independently. You’ll also make these women confident and provide them with strength to challenge injustices handed out at them.
