Project: orphanage
We were well received in the airport. It was exciting but also bit overwhelming to arrive in a country so different from our own. Everybody in Kalanki was kind and helpful. The language class and the village stay were very interesting and gave us a good impression of how it was going to be when we started our project.
The trip to Chitwan was a good experience, we were especially excited about the river rafting even though it was a bit cold. We lived in a same host family in Rampur and our host family was really nice. We enjoyed the Nepali food. Our project was orphanage and we both like working at the orphanage. We helped the kids in their studies and we also enjoyed playing with them. The kitchen duty was a good experience, . We have the impression that this is really good orphanage where the children are not missing anything.
