Now that I have been in Nepal for five months, I have a refreshed perspective on the activities of the introductory program. The language course was informative and helpful. It would be better if volunteers were given references to additional materials for study. "Teach yourself Nepali" , " Nepali language " and other sources. The Lamatar and Chitwan visits were well organized and fun.

My stay in Rampur was superb in all ways. I stayed with Bishnu Regmi and family. Because Nepali was spoken, my own language skills improved immensely. It was true immersion. Additionally "Amma: was a superb cook" Most mornings we cooked and chatted together, we share. It felt like a true family. Helping with daily chores, milking the buffalo, feeding the animals, cooking, bringing rice to the mill, all gave me a wonderful glimpse of Nepali life. They were wonderfully hospitable and gracious. My room was clean and private. It could not have been better.

Yes, I think RCDP is a well run organization. I have now taught English in a private boarding school, worked at the orphanage at Lamatar and now here, school teaching and Nursery at Rampur. Hom has always been very helpful at accommodating and making arrangement for my experience. The RCDP orphanages (Lamatar and Rampur) seen very well run. The kids are happy. The staffs are happy and friendly.

Thank You.
