Even though I have only spend nearly two weeks in Nepal, I can honestly say that all the experiences I have had so far have beeb amazing!! I am overall pleased and satisfied with everything. I have stayed with the nicest host family you can imagine and I am so sorry that I am already going because I could have spend much more ti8me in their house, much more!! I actually feel like I am a part of the family and they even gave me that family name: Lama; so my Nepalese name is Suman Lama. I will recommend all volunteers to stay at Som’s house because it was incredible and I am very grateful for this. I could give many more details about my stay at the Lama House and elaborate my experiences, but I will make this short.

I am also very grateful for the service I have received from RCDP!!! It has been great so far and I cannot complain about anything. I enjoyed much with the kids in orphanage.

A few words about Nepal: This is a absolutely the most beautiful country I have ever seen. It has absolutely everything even rhinos in your backyard! I love the country and I admire the people for their kindness and hospitality towards foreigners. May be I have just meet some amazing people again and again, but this is my story.

Just a reminder to RCDP: I think you should consider giving all the Nepalese festival/holiday dates to Exis / Green force / ICYE etc. because there is quite a few where you cannot work at all and this might disappoint some volunteers, not me though ! I had a blast during “Dashain….”
