Work in Orphanages

work in orphanage srilanka Despite the rich cultural and natural beauty, hunger and poverty still staggers the development of Sri Lanka. Thousands of children are forced to desert their home in search of job and food to nearby cities. Moreover, 20-year of civil war on the one hand and destructive Tsunami of 2004, on the other, have left many children homeless, dejected and orphans. Local social workers and organizations have instigated many orphanages to provide these children a bright future and to protect them from the neglect and violence of miserable street life. RCDP-Sri Lanka in collaboration with local orphanages and children support organizations invites compassionate volunteers to work for these displaced, abused, abandoned and needy orphans to lead them a happy and prosperous life.
