This adventurous Baden Powell Scout Trek is dedicated to the founder of international scouts, Baden Powell. Located off-the-beaten-track, the Baden Powell Scout Trek offers you the opportunity to experience charming villages and remarkable views of grand mountain peaks.

Baden Powell Scout Trek 14 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our support team will escort you to your comfortable hotel. After your check in and some refreshments, our senior guide will come to meet you and give you a short introduction about the trek. The rest of the day is reserved for your leisure/rest.

Day 2: Kathmandu to SyabruBesi [1400m]

Today, you get up early and take a scenic 9-hour drive to SyabruBeshi from Kathmandu.

After driving for 30 kms, you reach unspoiled villages nestled on the shores of the Trishuli River.

From here, you get to experience the stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Ganesh Himal, Annapurnas and Manaslu.

Day 3: SyabruBesi to Gatlang (2200m)

You get up early in the morning and start your trek to Gatlang. There is the Goljung viewing point on the way to Gatlang, from where you get to observe the awesome views of the Ganesh Himal and LangtangLirung.

Day 4: Trek to Yuri Kharka (2800m)

The trail leading to Yuri Kharka takes you through lush forests and local villages. You will hike along the local villages and through lush forests for several hours until you reach Yuri Kharka, where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Rest day

On day 5, you will rest for acclimatization or explore the surrounding area.

Day 6: Trek to Jageswor (4000m)

Today, you follow a steep route to Jageswor along the serene and pristine valley. This zone of Nepal is inhabited by the Tamang ethnic people.

Day 7: Trek to RimlangKharka (4200m)

You continue walking along the trail,which takes you uphill and downhill, passing through rhododendron forests. You will have lunch on the way beforeyou ascend through the 4000m mark. You gradually ascenduntil you reach RimlangKharka (4200m).

Day 8: Trek to ChanganKharka (4400m)

You carry on following the ridge to the north, exploring the panoramic views of the grand Himalayan ranges. After walking for around 6-hours on the thrilling and narrow route, you arrive at ChanganKharka.

Day 9: Trek to Tatopani (2600m)

From ChangamKharka, Trek trail descends to Tatopani along the SanjenKhola stream, passing through lush woods, over suspension bridges and pastTamang hamlets. Once you arrive at Tatopaniyou have the option to have a bath in the Hot Springs.

Day 10: Trek to Thuman (2400m)

From Tatopani, you climb up for about three hours to Thuman, passing through many Gompas. Thuman is a large Tamang village that gives you a deep insight intothe ancient Tamang culture and heritage.

Day 11: Trek to Rasuwagadi

Today, the trek itinerary takes you to the village of Rasuwagadi. There is a fort at Rasuwagadi in Timure, which is a historical reminder of the Nepal-Tibet relations that has existed for many centuries. Here, you are treated to a special view of a beautiful suspension bridge that links Nepal and Tibet.

Day 12: Trek to Briddim

Leaving Rasuwagadi, the trail takes you to Briddim, passing through lush green woods, captivating landscapes and scenic pastures. Briddim Village, situated at the foot of the Mount Langtang, provides you with an opportunity to experience the charming Tamang hospitality. You also pay a visit to the DukchuGomba and ChuklaKhangaGomba in the village.

Day 13: Trek to SyabruBeshi (1400m)

Following the left side of the BhoteKosi River to the North, you make your way back to SyabruBesi. Walking along the ascending and descending windy trail and Passing through fields until you finally arrive atSyabruBesi.

Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu

Today, you take a 9-hour picturesque drive to Kathmandu from SybruBeshi. The rest of the day is reserved for rest.
