Kathmandu Pokhara and Chitwan 7 Days Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

A representative from our company will come to welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. You will be briefed about the schedule of the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan tour.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu

The first destination on the second day of your 7 days Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan tour is Pashupatinath temple, which is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati river. The main attraction of Pashupatinath is the temple of lord Shiva. Along with the temple, there are several idols and monuments of different gods. You can witness Hindu rituals of worshiping as well as a cremation ceremony in this complex, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

The next destination in the itinerary of the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan 7 day tour is Boudhanath, which is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. You will encounter monks and devotees praying and lighting butter lamps. The spiritual energy of the place will give you peace amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

The next stop in the 7 day tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan is Patan Durbar Square, which lies 5kms south-east of the Kathmandu valley. The major highlight of the Patan Durbar Square is Krishna Mandir, Kumbleshwor temple, Golden temple, Malla Palace (Patan Museum) and other shrines and temples of Hindu and Buddhist religions.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara and sightseeing

On the third day of your Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan tour package you will be flying to Pokhara after having a hearty breakfast. The picturesque beauty of the snow-capped mountains will greet you as soon as you land in Pokhara. You will be visiting the most popular lakes including Phewa, Rupa, Begnas followed by Davis Fall. You will get the opportunity to explore caves like Mahendra Gupha while listening to the story behind the cave, which will certainly enhance your experience.

Day 4: Boating to Phewa lake and drive to Chitwan

The fourth day in the itinerary of the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan tour is scheduled for boating on Phewa lake, followed by a drive to Chitwan. The distance between Pokhara and Chitwan is approximately 147 km (5 to 6 hour drive).

Day 5: Jungle Safari at Chitwan National Park

On the fifth day of your Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan 7 day tour you will spend the day in the wilderness at a national park. The Chitwan National park is rich with flora and fauna and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1984. It is the home for endangered animals like the one horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Bengal Tiger.

During the jungle safari you may come across leopards, wild boar, bison, crocodiles, deer and other several species of birds. Canoeing in the river will give you an opportunity to witness crocodiles and other aquatic animals.

Day 6: Return to Kathmandu

On the sixth day of the seven-day Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan trip you will be returning to Kathmandu. You will be escorted to airport at Bharatpur to catch a flight to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu you can take time to do whatever you like.
