The Fee and Dates

RCDP Nepal programs begin every Monday throughout the year, giving participants flexibility when planning their travel. If you have specific travel arrangements or other commitments, some flexibility with your start date may also be possible. You can speak with our program coordinator in advance to discuss your preferred arrival and start date.

Volunteer and Internship Program Fees in Nepal:

RCDP Nepal offers volunteer and internship programs with fees starting from $150, depending on the program and duration of your placement.

The total program cost consists of a registration fee of $279 and a weekly program fee. Before making your payment, the program coordinator will explain the applicable costs and what is included in your chosen placement.

Supporting Local Communities:

Alongside its volunteer and internship programs in Nepal, RCDP supports community-based projects focused on children, education, and local development. These include an orphanage project and school construction and renovation initiatives. Most of the program fee is used to provide the services and support included in your placement. How the Weekly Fee Is Used

The weekly program fee generally covers two main areas:

• 50% for accommodation and three local meals per day
• 50% for project support and local staff

The exact allocation can vary depending on the project, location, and type of placement. Your program coordinator will explain the relevant costs and inclusions before you make your payment, so you have a clear understanding of how your program fee is used.

The weekly fee is divided between accommodation and 3 local meals a day (50%) and project donation/support to local project staff (50%). This allocation may be different depending on location, project type, etc. However, our coordinator will explain these issues before you pay the fee. RCDP Nepal ensures that your program fees are used directly to support your placement and local communities. To keep things transparent, the fees are clearly divided, with 50% allocated to accommodation and meals and the remaining 50% used for project support.

In addition, there are no hidden costs. Any funds left after covering the necessary program expenses are used to support local projects and community initiatives.

Scholarships and Fee Waivers

At present, RCDP Nepal does not offer scholarships or fee waivers because our program fees are already kept as low as possible to cover accommodation, meals, and project support.

However, we understand that arranging funding for an international volunteer program can be challenging. Therefore, we provide fundraising ideas and supporting documents to help volunteers plan and manage their funding.
