EBC Trek and Fly Back by Helicopter 12 Days Itinerary:

This extra-ordinary journey takes you on a scenic ride amidst spectacular valleys and stunning peaks in the Himalayas-an experience of a life time to be accomplished.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu:

Upon arrival at the TIA airport, our airport representative will pick you up from the arrival gate, and transfer you the designated hotel. The entire days is kept reserved for rest.

Day 2 Flight to Lukla and trek towards Phakding:

Today you will get up early in the morning, and head straight towards the airport to board a flight for Lukla. A short scenic 35 mins flight to Lukla is thrilling, passing over fantastic landscapes and stunning mountains. Once you land here, you will be introduced to your guide, and from here you’re 12 Days Everest base camp trek and fly back by helicopter actually starts here.

You will be heading straight towards the Dudh Koshi River valley, making your way through the lush green forests, getting glimpses of the mountain peaks, and reach out towards Phakding. Overnight stay at Phakding.

Day 3 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar:(3450m)

Today you will continue your Everest base camp trek and fly back by helicopter 12 days journey all along the Dudh Koshi River Valley.After crossing the Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge at several places, and passing through small hamlets of Benkar, Chumoa, you reach Monjo, an entry point to the world’s highest Sagarmatha National Park.

From here you will be crossing the bridge you make a steep ascent, you reach Namche Bazaar. It is one of the biggest market place in the Khumbu region. overnight at Namche bazaar.

Day 4 Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar:

The fourth day's itinerary of Everest base camp trek of 12 days and fly back by helicopter is a day of relaxation and exploration. You will acclimatize at Namche Bazaar. You can visit the Everest View Hotel, here for splendid views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse,Ama Dablam, Thamserku and few more. Visiting nearby shops and picking up souvenirs is also a good idea, along with a monastery which houses a yeti scalp. Overnight at Namche.

Day 5 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche:(3,870m), 5-6 hrs

Today your day starts with a downhill descent, all along the Dudh-Koshi River Valley, passing through the rhododendron and pine forest, down the river valley stunning views of towering mountains enthralls you while making way towards your targeted destination of Tengboche.

Tengboche is one of the most spectacular places in the Everest region, known for its snow-capped mountain views from here, and also for the monastery, which is the largest in this region. Overnight at Tengboche.

Day 6 Trekking from Tengbohe to Dingboche:(4360) 5 -6 hours

The sixth day of your 12 days Everest base camp trek and a flight back by helicopter starts with a descent over the forest slope. As you carefully walk through the forest you will come across several lush green trees, rhododendron and birds. Next the trail passes through a spectacular view oriented path, from where mountains like Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Everest presents a rewarding experience.

The trail then drops down to Devuche, and after crossing the River Imja you will find yourself in Pangboche. Stunning picturesque views of Pangboche monastery and Himalayan ranges, awaits you until Dingboche. You will then make an ideal cross towards the Imja valley, followed by river Lobuche. Again from here you will then start ascending slowly over a steep slope, and reach Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day 7 Acclimatization at Dingboche:

The 7th day of your 12 days Everest base camp trek and fly back in helicopter brings a sigh of relief. The day is meant for acclimatization and exploration. This place holds spectacular farms enclosed by stone walls, to protect the buckwheat, barely and potato fields from wild animals and cold winds. If you have extra bit of energy that you can take up a small hike in and around the Chukkhung valley or Na5rgarjun Hill to get the outstanding views of Mount Lhotse, Makalu, Chalotse, Ama Dablam and Tawache. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day 8 Trekking from Dingboche to Lobuche:(4940m),5-6 hours

Your day begins with slow climb to Duglha, that is towards the end of a terminal moriane of the Khumbhu glaicire.The trail from here starts to narrow towards Chupki Lhara where you will come across prayer flags.

Next you journey continues leading you towards the Khumbu Glarcier moraine, finding yourself to be surrounded by fantastic views of mountain such as Mahalangur, Pumori, Lingtren and Khumbutse from this place is breathtaking. As you move forwards the trail will get easier and will lead to Lobuche. The trail becomes easier, as you make your way towards the valley of Lobuche. Your eighth day tour culminates here. Overnight at Lobuche.

Day 9 Trekking from Lobuche to Gorak Shep(5170m) and a visit to Everest Base Camp(5364m):6-7 hours

Your ninth day of Everest base camp trekking and fly back by helicopter 12 days, journey starts by following the trail straight towards the Everest base camp, passing through the Gorak-shep lake. You will come across the Indian army mountaineers memorials. The path from here is confusing, your Sherpa guide will choose the best path ahead, and you will follow the same.

Moving ahead you will pass through the moraine, streams and rocky dunes untill you reach the Everest base camp. You will feel a bit uneasy and stretched on reaching here. Despite all odds, you will get to have fantastic views of Pumori, Khumbuste and Pumori from the base camp. After having a good look at it we make way towards Gorak-shep.Overnight at Gorakshep.

Day 10 Trekking from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and Helicopter ride to Lukla: 3-4 hours

The tenth day of your Everest base camp trek 12 days and fly back by helicopter is the most eagerly awaited day of your entire tour. You get up early in the morning, and ride the helicopter amidst murky dawn and temperatures well below -10 to -14. As you fly,you come across snowcapped views of Khumbutse, Lingtren and Changtse gives you an awesome feel. Next you move on to your next destination of Kalapatthar, an important vantage point for spectacular view of Mount Everest.

After spending some time here having a good look at it, you will retrace back to Gorask shep, from here we take a flight back to Lukla, crossing over serene Gokyo Lake and fascinating landscapes and mountain backdrops, you touch down at Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 11 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu:

Today is the final day of your 12 days Everest base camp trek and flight back by helicopter in Kathmandu. You will be spending the night in Kathmandu. You will board and early morning’s flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Once here the entire day is in your hands for you to engage yourself either relaxing or exploring the city in the way you want to.

Day 12 Departure from Kathmandu:

The 12th day of your Everest base camp trek and flight back by helicopter 12 days, marks the end of your dramatic journey here in Nepal. Our airport representative will transfer you to the airport safely. You will leave Nepal with a life-changing experience, and unforgettable memories to be cherished forever.
