Do you dream of changing the lives of orphaned children? Are you interested in visiting Nepal to help and immerse yourself in Nepalese culture? Join this volunteer program in Nepal to experience this and more.
Nepal offers travelers everything from breathtaking mountains and landscapes to national parks and striking wildlife. You will enjoy delicious traditional meals and visit wonderful antique landmarks and temples with unique architecture. All these natural and cultural wonders make Nepal a marvelous country to visit and volunteer in.
Despite being a natural paradise, thousands of children are forced to live as orphans in Nepal due to poverty, illiteracy, political instability, and other tragic circumstances. These children find shelter in orphanages, which try their best to provide for basic needs. However, many poor children do not receive adequate support because the orphanages lack sufficient staff and funding.
RCDP’s Nepal orphanage volunteering program works with multiple orphanages in Nepal to help them provide better care for disadvantaged children. When you join this program, you will work with impoverished children to offer much-needed affection, care, and attention. Your dedication and time will help these children lead a happy and harmonious life.

Every year, hundreds of volunteers from UK and USA-based organizations spend up to $2,500 for a 2-week program in Nepal. However, RCDP offers the most affordable volunteer program, with fees starting as low as $150. The program fee is divided into a registration fee ($279) and a weekly fee.
In addition to Nepal orphanage volunteer programs, RCDP runs multiple projects supporting poor children and orphanages. We currently manage one orphanage and conduct school construction/renovation programs (for details, visit: RCDP Achievements). The majority of your program fee is used directly for your program. Any remaining funds help support these community projects and orphanages.
The weekly fee is typically divided as 50% for room and three local meals per day and 50% for project support and local staff. Allocation may vary depending on the location or project type, but your program coordinator will explain these details before payment.
